At Roe Farm Primary School, we believe every child deserves to feel happy, supported and able to succeed.

This school is inclusive. It is ambitious for all pupils to achieve well, starting in the early years. Pupils enjoy learning and their achievements continue to improve.

OFSTED - June 2024

We firmly believe that behaviour and wellbeing in a school are inextricably linked with pupils’ academic achievement and children with greater levels of emotional, behavioural, social, and school wellbeing will achieve higher levels of academic achievement and make more progress during their time at primary school.

Our Inclusion Team works closely with children, families, staff and external agencies to make sure all pupils get the help they need to thrive both in and out of the classroom.

We offer a range of supportive programmes, including Sensory Circuits, Attention Autism and Social and Emotional support. These are designed to help children develop confidence, communication skills and emotional wellbeing. Support is available for children with Education, Health and Care (EHC) Plans, those on the SEN register, and any pupil who may benefit from extra help at different times.

Our Oak Room in Key Stage 2 provides a calm and welcoming space where children can go when they need extra support, including during lunchtimes.

We regularly review how well our support is working using tools like Pupil voice and the Boxall Profile assessment, and we make sure to listen to children’s views so we can continue to improve what we offer. By working together with families, we aim to create a safe, inclusive environment where every child feels valued and ready to learn.
