Curriculum Statement of Intent

We have high aspirations for all of our children and we strongly believe that primary education is not just about results and league tables, nor is it just a stepping stone to secondary school; it is so much more than that. At Roe Farm Primary School, we have developed our GROWTH curriculum drivers to serve as the overarching principles to our curriculum design.

We provide an engaging and stimulating curriculum that has been designed to meet the needs of all learners. We have ensured that it offers a broad range of varied, challenging and enjoyable experiences that work together to increase pupils’ cultural capital, narrow the language gap and inspire all learners to reach their full potential.

It is our goal to ensure that each pupil is offered a curriculum that is broad and balanced, meeting their individual needs to achieve the best they can. We believe that to be successful learners, pupils need support from school and home and help developing the metacognitive skills to guide their own learning in to the future.
