The study of geography is about more than just memorising places on a map.  It's about understanding the complexity of our world, appreciating the diversity of cultures that exists across continents.  And in the end, it's about using all that knowledge to help bridge divides and bring people together.

Roe Farm Primary School is fortunate to be located on the doorstep to the Peak District, Britain's first National Park.  It provides many fantastic opportunities for pupils to study first hand many aspects of both physical and human geography.  This first-hand experience provides a great foundation for developing an understanding of processes at a global level.
