Nursery
Currently all 3 and 4 year olds are eligible for 15 hours of free childcare per week during term time from the term after their 3rd birthday. At Roe Farm, we can offer two options:
All day Monday, Tuesday and half day Wednesday
or
Half day Wednesday and all day Thursday and Friday

Some pupils are also eligible for an additional 15hours of free childcare for 3 & 4 year olds and are able to attend nursery full time during term time.
The additional hours are available to working families where:
-
both parents are working (or the sole parent is working in a lone parent family) and each parent earns a weekly minimum equivalent to 16 hours at national minimum wage, and less than £100,000 per year. Working will include employed and self-employed persons. Parents do not necessarily need to actually work 16 hours a week, but their earnings must reflect at least 16 hours of work at national minimum wage or national living wage. This includes parents on zero contract hours who meet the criteria.
-
Both parents are employed but one or both parents is temporarily away from the workplace on parental, maternity, paternity, adoption leave or on statutory sick pay.
-
One parent is employed and the other parent has substantial caring responsibilities based on specific benefits received for caring.
-
One parent is employed and one parent is disabled or incapacitated based on receipt of specific benefits.

To access the additional 15 hours you must apply for an eligibility code the term before you would like your child to access the additional hours. This cannot be earlier than the term after your child turns 3 years old.
